How Cartridge Recovery Powder Coating Booth Works?

A basic cartridge filter powder coatig booth is mainly composed of a booth chamber made of durable coated steel, several pieces of cartridges filter, a set of centrifugal fan, pulse solenoid valves, a recovery hopper, electric control system, lighting system. 

Briefly, the working principe is by means of a fan drawing clean air into the booth and passing accross filters that creates a negative pressure in the chamber, thus oversprayed powders in the air flow will gather in the filters, thus all recycling air is free-particles. An automatic pulse-jetting device cleans the filters and release the powders through which powders drop into a recovery hopper


Powder Coating Booth Configurations & Working Process

Air Suction & Exhaut

A powerful centrifugal fan sucks the air from the spray booth cabin, dragging the remaining powder paint from the application ("overspray") towards filters which capture the particules. Thus the air is filtered by cartridges and exhasuted completely clean to the working environment.


Cartridge Filter Collector Module

As the overspray are attached onto the surfaces of cartridge filters, powder collection is carried out. These filters can be easily and quickly coupled and uncoupled manually without requiring special tools, as the cartridge integrates a flange that is attached to the cabin with butterflies. The easy replacement of filters allows quick color changes.


Cartidge Filter Cleaning

The filters retain their capacity to release the attached powder overspray through a self-cleaning system. The filter cleaning is carried out with programmable pulse-jets from a PLC, which allows setting cleaning duration and interval then acts automatically.
