Wet blasting machine has a specially designed pump that agitates water and media into a slurry, and deliver the slurry to the blast nozzle is via a hoses located inside the machine. Compressed air is introduced at the blast nozzle to accelerate the slurry and provide the cleaning effect.

The obvious advantage to wet blasting is that water-borne abrasive gives a finer and cleaner finish due to the flushing action of the water.  As there will be no media impregnated into the component, and no any dust created by the break-up of media.
